Rental Terms and Conditions

Komin gradnje d.o.o. Gospodinjska ulica 8, 1000 Ljubljana (hereinafter referred to as the Lessor)

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

These General Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the motorhome rental agreement concluded between the Lessor and the Renter. By entering into the rental agreement, the Renter confirms that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these General Terms and Conditions.

The Renter may not collect the rented vehicle without a signed rental agreement and full settlement of the required payments.

During the high season (1 June – 31 August), public holidays, and other periods of increased demand, the minimum rental period is 7 nights, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

During the low and mid seasons, the minimum rental period is 3 nights.

2. RENTAL PRICE

The rental price is determined according to the current price list or a confirmed quotation and remains unchanged after the rental agreement has been concluded.

The motorhome rental price includes:

• Vehicle rental for the agreed period
• VAT at the applicable rate
• Compulsory third-party liability and comprehensive insurance with a deductible
• Roadside assistance
• Limited mileage (350 km per day)

Each additional kilometre is charged according to the Lessor’s price list.

The rental price does not include fuel, tolls, interior and exterior cleaning, bed linen, towels, or kitchen equipment, unless otherwise agreed.

The Renter is responsible for all traffic violations and other offences committed during the rental period.

3. SECURITY DEPOSIT AND VEHICLE COLLECTION FEES

The Renter is required to pay a security deposit, the amount of which depends on the vehicle type and is specified in the quotation or rental agreement.

The security deposit is intended to cover:

• Insurance deductible
• Any damage to the vehicle or its equipment
• Missing equipment
• Late vehicle return
• Additional costs under these Terms and Conditions

If the vehicle is returned in proper condition, the security deposit will be refunded to the Renter’s bank account no later than 5 working days after the vehicle has been returned.

The Renter is also required to pay a fixed vehicle preparation and collection fee, which includes vehicle preparation, administration, a basic gas cylinder, toilet chemicals, filling the water tank, operating instructions, and vehicle inspection upon return.

4. ADDITIONAL CHARGES

The Renter is required to pay additional charges in the following cases:

• Returning the vehicle without a full fuel tank
• Returning the vehicle without proper cleaning
• Failing to empty the toilet cassette or wastewater tank
• Damage to the vehicle interior or equipment
• Smoking or wearing shoes inside the motorhome
• Late return of the vehicle
• Loss of documents or keys
• Transporting animals without permission

All additional charges are calculated according to the current price list or actual costs incurred.

5. PAYMENT

Upon confirmation of the reservation, the Renter is required to pay a deposit of 50% of the total rental price.

The remaining rental balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the start of the rental period.

The security deposit must be paid no later than 7 days before vehicle collection.

Failure to make the required payments will be considered a cancellation of the reservation.

6. RENTAL CANCELLATION

The Renter may cancel the rental by sending written notice to info@rentcamper.si.

In the event of cancellation, administrative fees and cancellation charges apply depending on when the cancellation is made:

• More than 45 days before the rental period: 10% of the rental price
• Between 44 and 14 days before the rental period: 50% of the rental price
• Less than 14 days before the rental period: 85% of the rental price

If the Renter fails to collect the vehicle, the rental will be considered cancelled after the rental period has begun.

7. VEHICLE COLLECTION AND RETURN

Vehicle collection takes place between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The vehicle must be returned by 10:00 AM on the final day of the rental period, unless otherwise agreed.

Vehicle collection and return are documented in a vehicle condition report.

8. VEHICLE CONDITION AND RESPONSIBILITY

The Renter receives a technically sound, clean, and properly equipped vehicle.

The Renter is required to return the vehicle in the same condition, together with all supplied equipment.

The Renter is responsible for any damage occurring during the rental period.

9. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

The driver must:

• Be at least 25 years old
• Have held a valid driving licence of the appropriate category for at least 4 years
• Be listed in the rental agreement

10. PROHIBITED USE

The vehicle must not be used for:

• Commercial activities
• Transporting hazardous substances
• Racing or vehicle testing
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Subletting or transferring the vehicle to third parties
• Camping in violation of local laws and regulations

Smoking inside the vehicle is prohibited.

11. TRAVELLING ABROAD

Travelling abroad is permitted provided that the Lessor has been notified in advance and the destination countries are not subject to travel restrictions or affected by war.

The Renter must comply with local laws and regulations, particularly those relating to camping.

12. BREAKDOWNS AND ACCIDENTS

In the event of a breakdown or accident, the Renter must immediately notify the Lessor and the police and complete the appropriate documentation.

13. FORCE MAJEURE

In the event of force majeure, the contracting parties shall agree on an alternative rental period or a refund of the amounts paid.

The Lessor shall not be liable for indirect damages.

14. INSURANCE

The vehicle is covered by comprehensive insurance with a deductible.

A GPS tracking device may be installed in the vehicle for security purposes.

15. LIABILITY

The Renter is responsible for all damage resulting from improper or prohibited use of the vehicle.

16. COMPETENT COURT

Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the court with subject-matter jurisdiction in Ljubljana.
